QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Everything (else) you might need to know for our special day

What is the dress code?

Our wedding dress code is Black Tie Optional. This means that we encourage guests to dress in formal attire to celebrate with us, but you have a bit of flexibility in your choices. Here’s a guide to help:

  • For Men: A tuxedo is ideal if you’d like to go all out, but a dark suit and tie are also perfectly acceptable for this dress code. A crisp shirt and polished shoes will help complete the look.

  • For Women: Floor-length gowns are encouraged for a formal touch, but elegant cocktail dresses or dressy separates are also wonderful options. Think of something you’d feel fabulous in for an evening celebration.

Will the event take place indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony will take place indoors, followed by a cocktail hour, reception, and after-party that blend both indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Pleasantdale Chateau, weather permitting.

Will there be transportation to and from the hotel?

Yes! A pre-ceremony shuttle will pick guests up from our primary hotel, the Residence Inn. Please be ready by 3:30 PM, as the shuttle departs promptly at 3:45 PM.

Important note:
Hotel check-in is at 4:00 PM, which conflicts slightly with our shuttle schedule. The hotel is aware and will do their best to accommodate early check-in. If your room isn’t ready by shuttle departure, the hotel can securely store your luggage at the front desk.

For transportation back after the reception, Uber/Lyft vouchers will be provided so guests can leave at their convenience.

To reserve a room under our hotel block, please visit the Travel & Accommodations page.

Is there parking available?

Yes, we’re pleased to offer complimentary valet parking for all our guests.

Are children invited?

To give our guests the opportunity to fully unwind, we’ve chosen to make this an adults-only event, with the exception of a few little ones specifically named on their invitations. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What's the best way to RSVP?

Please RSVP via our website here.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so you can be fully present with us in the moment. Our photographer will capture everything beautifully, and we can’t wait to share those memories with you.

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Yes! We’d love to see you at our Farewell Brunch, held the following morning from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at Pleasantdale Chateau. Join us to relax, savor breakfast, and enjoy a little extra time together.
